Art Hotel Hirosaki City is located in front of Hirosaki Station in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. The location is good and the rooms are nice, but I'd like to introduce the restaurant and bar. Breakfast is buffet style and there are many local dishes, so it's very satisfying. If you eat breakfast here, you can conquer the local cuisine. I recommend the soup, Keno-jiru, because it was really delicious. I prefer Japanese food, so I forgot to take pictures of the Western food, but there was plenty of bread, salad, and flakes. It wasn't crowded, so I was able to eat my meal at a leisurely pace. The walls inside the restaurant are also really cute. I also got the impression that there were more types of drinks than in a normal buffet. Of course, there was apple juice. I also recommend the bar on the same floor. As part of the travel support, I received a coupon at check-in that gave me a free cider with every glass I ordered, so I went there, and the apple at the entrance was cute! They were kind enough to make cocktails that were not too sweet. There is also a tea lounge on the lobby floor. Here you can also purchase apple pie, a staple of Hirosaki, as a takeaway. It was a heavy pie with a light sweetness and a strong apple flavor. Art Hotel Hirosaki City is located in front of Hirosaki Station in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. I booked this time with JAL Pack, but even if I had booked normally, I think it was good to choose this hotel overall. The room type I stayed in was a Deluxe Hollywood Twin Room, which had a low table and chairs, and it was nice to have a relaxing space! The bathroom was spacious and the bathtub was clean. It was a shame that the exterior was dark because of construction work, but overall it was clean and comfortable to stay in. I was also happy that the free mineral water in the refrigerator was from the Shirakami Mountains. This water is incredibly delicious, so please try it. Breakfast was buffet style, with many local dishes and was very satisfying. It wasn't crowded, so I was able to eat my meal at my own pace. For the first night of our 3-night, 4-day trip to Hokkaido and the northern Tohoku region, we stayed at Art Hotel Hirosaki City, located in Hirosaki. The hotel is just a 1-minute walk from JR Hirosaki Station. It takes about an hour by limousine bus from Aomori Airport. On this day, we arrived at Sapporo's New Chitose Airport and took a domestic flight to Aomori. This is my second time staying in Aomori Prefecture, the first being 10 years ago near the Oirase Gorge. We chose the area near Hirosaki Station as it’s a convenient starting point for our itinerary. I’ve stayed at hotels in this chain before in Sapporo and Asahikawa, so I chose it again with confidence. This is my fourth visit to Hirosaki. I’ve visited in spring and autumn for the cherry blossoms and autumn foliage, and I also came back for the famous Starbucks here. This time, I combined my Starbucks stamp tour with a stay at this hotel. The Starbucks Hirosaki Tsutaya branch is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to complete my mission. I checked in around 9 PM. The room type is a Standard King Room. The room features two single beds placed side by side in a Hollywood style. It also includes a desk, a table, and a chair where you can stretch your legs. The view from the 10th-floor room includes distant mountains, Hirosaki Station, and other nearby hotels. The next morning, I had breakfast at the hotel. Unlike typical small-city hotels, this one has a relatively large breakfast area. The omelets were delicious, and there were over 60 side dishes to choose from, allowing for a luxurious breakfast experience. After checking out, I also used the lounge on the first floor. Stayed at Art Hotel Hirosaki (2/26-2/28). The location is right next to the station, so it's convenient to move around. The interior of the room is old, but well-maintained, so it's okay. Breakfast is good in reviews, but it's not so good, so I don't recommend it.
