It's one of my favourite breakfast place, I'm literally miss their richly spiced Curry Laksa noodles and thick coffee! Recommended: Roasted Chicken with rice balls, Curry Laksa noodles, Cheese & Ham toast, Kaya & Butter chacoal toast and Hor Ka Sai (Ice Coffee+Milo). We stopped by for lunch and sampled a few of their popular items — and the experience didn’t disappoint. The chicken curry mee was rich and fragrant, with a creamy coconut curry base that hit the right balance of spice and flavor. The noodles were springy, and the addition of tender chicken pieces made the bowl feel hearty and satisfying. We also tried the roasted chicken with rice balls, a Melakan specialty. The chicken was well-roasted with crispy skin and juicy meat, while the rice balls were tightly packed and aromatic — a nostalgic nod to traditional Hainanese chicken rice served in a more playful form. The egg tarts were a pleasant surprise — flaky, buttery pastry with a silky smooth custard filling that wasn’t overly sweet. A great little treat to round off the meal. To wash it all down, the local-style coffee was robust and aromatic, served strong with a hint of condensed milk for that familiar kopitiam touch. Service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed with both locals and visitors enjoying a casual meal.
