A must-see for Giant fans! A must-see Giant town in Munich, Germany📸Nördlingen
Nördlingen was built in a meteorite crater 15 million years ago. This meteorite crater is one of the largest existing meteorite craters on Earth and is one of the few towns with city walls.
If you have watched "Attack on Titan" or "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World", then you must be very familiar with the scene in the photo! You can climb the bell tower "Daniel" of St. George's Church to enjoy the magnificent view of the entire circular town from a high place. At the same time, you can walk around the city wall or walk around the market in the town to feel the atmosphere from the Shiganshina district.
Itinerary:
From Munich Central Station, it takes two hours to drive to Nördlingen, which is very suitable for a day trip. There are also hotels in the area.
Church opening hours: 10 am to 6 pm (last admission at 5:30 pm)
Notes:
1. Walking around the city wall takes about an hour
2. The church is about 90 meters high and there is no elevator❌❌, so you need to take the stairs
3. The fee to the top is 4 euros per person, and credit cards and cash are accepted.
4. There are free town maps on the top floor, and there is also a souvenir shop.
5. There are also a city museum and a meteorite museum next to the town. You can visit both museums for 2 euros, but most of the exhibits are only in German.

Attack on Titan Motif Village - Nördlingen
I visited Nördlingen, the model town for Attack on Titan. The weather was nice at the end of April and the people were friendly. It was like the small German city trip I had imagined. If you're an Attack on Titan fan, it would be good to visit at least once. I'll make good memories.
If you could click the best just once,.. I'd appreciate itㅠ

Prototype of Attack on Titan 🇩🇪🇩🇪Germany Nördlingen🇩🇪🇩🇪
I believe fans who have seen the orange-white buildings and city walls in Attack on Titan will be familiar with them. This work perfectly highlights the character of the small city of Nördlingen. Although it is a bit too big to call it a city, it is too small to call it a village. It should be regarded as a place in between.
The borders of this small city are demarcated by complete city walls. In your spare time, you can take a walk along the city wall, which takes about an hour. Afterwards, you can enter the city and wander around at will, enjoying the tranquility and leisure unique to a small city.
The most recommended attraction is the church in the city center. For a small fee, you can climb to the top of the tower and overlook the entire city. However, it should be noted that there are only stairs leading to the top of the tower, and the climb can be exhausting.
In addition, if you look carefully, you can find many small graffiti or Easter eggs related to "Attack on Titan" in the city, which are very interesting. If you are a fan of the Giants and make a pilgrimage here, half a day is enough.

Make a difference in Nördlingen
When you think of a medieval walled city, what comes to mind?
90% of people would say Rothenburg. If you go to Nördlingen, you can avoid the crowds and have a comfortable trip.
Even if you take into account that June is not the tourist season, there are not many tourist spots where you can take photos as if you have the cityscape all to yourself (in fact, Rothenburg was full of tourists).
In the evening, you can see locals returning home from the station, and you can think about the real daily life in the old town.
It is hard to climb the stairs to the church tower that overlooks the city, but it is definitely worth it, and the compact cityscape is perfect for walking around.
If you get hungry, there are inexpensive inbis and you can enjoy everything.
I hope you will enjoy Nördlingen, a city where medieval romance and modernity are fused.

The prototype inspiration of Attack on Titan in Germany, an extraordinary town!
Attack on Titan, the anime, has ended! 🎉 Today, to reminisce about this anime, I'm going to introduce you to a lesser-known town in Germany, which is said to be one of the prototype inspirations for the Titans, attracting many Titan fans to check in~🌈
📍Nördlingen (Nördlingen, Germany)
📖Little science popularization time: Nördlingen is a city in southern Bavaria, Germany. This city is built on a meteorite crater formed by a huge meteorite falling about 15 million years ago, protected by a circular city wall, retaining a strong medieval atmosphere, really like the feeling inside the Titan wall! 🧐
🇩🇪Check-in tips:
✅Nordlinger Stadtmauer: Built in the 13th century, it is one of the best-preserved medieval city walls in Europe. The city wall surrounds the entire old town of Nördlingen, and almost the entire wall can be reached on foot, and the passage is covered. 👣
✅Leopsinger Gate Tower: This tower is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city, located on a small hill in the center of the town. The top floor of the building offers a panoramic view of the city, a popular spot for photography, really feels like you can see the three-dimensional maneuvering device flying around here. 🛸
✅Bavarian Railway Museum: The Bavarian Railway Museum displays more than 100 original vehicles, including steam locomotives. For steam locomotive enthusiasts, this is an excellent place to visit. 🚂
✅Kriegerbrunnen: This is a beautiful fountain in the city center, surrounded by many small shops, it can be said to be both photogenic and good for shopping. 🛍️
✅Airbnb accommodation recommendation: Newly renovated & luxurious flat next to city wall (located in the old town, next to the medieval city wall) 👏
