𝘿𝙖𝙮𝟰: Datong surrounding area 🔸Hanging Temple It is built on the mountain, with the temple body hanging on the steep cliff. The whole temple seems to be attached to the cliff. From a distance, it looks like a flying bird perching on the rock, which is breathtaking and amazing. 🔸Yingxian Wooden Pagoda The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda is not built with bricks, but with wood. Linfen may be known for its past air pollution, but many people may not know about it... It is a tourist base town for the Yellow River Pingkou Waterfall. It is connected to Xi'an by high-speed rail, so it is easy to travel. When I got off at Linfen Station, I was greeted by a beautiful blue sky high in the sky, which was refreshing. There was no sign of the city's efforts to improve air pollution, and the blue sky spread throughout the sky during my stay. I felt like I saw a ray of hope for a solution to global climate change. When the weather is this good, I naturally walk more and get hungry. I "found" a restaurant that satisfies my hunger! All-you-can-eat lamb shabu-shabu, which I love! The inside of the restaurant is much larger than you would imagine from the outside, and all kinds of different dishes are all-you-can-eat! They also have sushi! I tried my best to get a variety of dishes, but only some of them. They also have a wide selection of fruits, desserts, and drinks. Needless to say, I went there every day during my stay. The outside looks like a McDonald's, and this mark caught my eye, so I found it! ☺

I've been to Shanxi three times in one year; it truly is a treasure province. Shanxi is definitely more than just Datong. I prefer Linfen and am sharing our three-day, two-night itinerary, with an average cost of 💰600 per person. 🧡Day 1️⃣: Linfen Museum 👉 Hongtong Great Pagoda Tree 👉 Guangsheng Temple Linfen Museum is a real gem, a national first-class museum, but it has very few visitors, making it worth exploring slowly. 🧡At Hongtong Great Pagoda Tree, you can watch a live performance about the Great Pagoda Tree migration. The thousand-year-old ancient pagoda tree is truly massive. 🧡The Feihong Tower in Guangsheng Temple is the tallest colorful glazed tower in the world. Seeing it in person is much better than hearing about it—it’s really beautiful😍. 🧡Day 2️⃣: Xixitian in Xi County 👉 Dongyue Temple 👉 Hukou Waterfall 🧡Xixitian in Xi County has become very popular recently because of the dark mythology of Wukong🔥. It’s quite stunning and worth a visit. 🧡Dongyue Temple, located at the top of Baishan Mountain, has few tourists. The carvings of Leizhenzi and heavenly soldiers are incredibly lifelike. 🧡Day 3️⃣: Hukou Waterfall Hukou Waterfall is divided into two scenic areas: Shanxi and Shaanxi. You must visit the Shanxi side to see the Yellow River roaring up close—it’s truly breathtaking. The Shaanxi side is a bit farther from the river and doesn’t offer that immersive experience. 🚗Transportation: Fly✈️ or take the high-speed train🚅 to Linfen. It’s recommended to rent a car locally since the distances between attractions are quite far. We rented one for about 80 yuan per day. 🍚Food: Almost no disappointments, prices are cheap and portions are generous❗️

There is a village called "Fenshang Village" in Yaodu District, Linfen City, Shanxi Province. Its official name is Jinwangfen Village. It was born with a royal tomb from the Ming Dynasty - the Tomb of King Ding of Jin. According to the "Linfen County Chronicles", the person buried here is Zhu Jihui, the grandson of Zhu Yuanzhang and the eldest son of Prince of Jin Zhu Gang. The entire village was built within the former tomb of King Jin, and the main road of the village was the sacred road that led to the tomb of King Jin in the past. The stone statues on both sides of the main road are still preserved in their original positions, including six types of statues: stone pillars, stone men, stone horses, stone lions, stone sheep and stone tigers. It is commonly known as "Nan Laoye Peak" or "Tianshou Mountain", which means "anyone who climbs this mountain can increase their fortune and longevity." Echoing the Beilaoyeding in Hongdong, it is 1,080 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Yaodu District. In 1695, a major earthquake struck Pingyang and completely destroyed the temple. After the Japanese army captured Laoyeding in 1939, they set fire to the temple, destroying hundreds of halls. In recent years, restoration of cultural relics has been carried out one after another. Tianshou Mountain integrates the cultures of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and its main hall is called Shizun Temple. The World Honored One Courtyard is located from west to east.
