Wandered into Zhujiajiao ancient town 🛶

Suzhou’s ancient water towns are overhyped and this less known one is just right in Shanghai for those who don’t want to travel all the way to Suzhou! I decided to stop here a day before going to Suzhou’s Tongli ancient water town and couldn’t help compare both. Tongli is much more ancient and has more historical landmarks, but Zhujiajiao is absolutely stunning and so much more hippy with more cafe, tea houses and cat cafes! #zhujiajiao #ancientarchitecture #shanghai #weekendgetaways
