Versailles

To visit Versailles from Paris, you need to use the Navigo Weekly Pass to travel outside of Paris. From the station near Versailles, it's about a 10-minute walk to reach the Palace of Versailles. Be sure to book your tickets in advance, as the lines can be very long if you don't. Honestly, I didn't find the Palace of Versailles particularly impressive or extravagant. Paris already has many stunning places like the Opera Garnier or the Louvre, so I wasn't deeply moved by it. The gardens didn't leave much of an impression either, especially since the weather wasn't great. If the weather had been better, it might have been more enjoyable. However, if your trip to Paris is short, I don't think visiting the Palace of Versailles is a must. There are plenty of other places to explore in Paris during that time.
