Huap Tad Cave, a wonder of caves, see the ancient forest

Huap Pa Tad is located in Tung Na Ngam Subdistrict, Lan Sak District, Uthai Thani. It is under the care of Tham Pratun Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a place full of beautiful and unusual nature. Huap Pa Tad has been declared a conservation area by the National Park Department because of its unique geographical conditions with many rare species of plants, such as the turtle, the cedar, the small khat khao, and the ground jackfruit. Huap Pa Tad is a large cave with a forest full of cedar trees and strange ancient plants. Huap Pa Tad Cave was discovered by Phra Khru Santitham Koson (Luang Pho Thong Yot), the abbot of Tham Thong Temple in 1979. At that time, the monk climbed down into the valley and found many cedar trees. The cedar trees are ancient trees in the same family as palm trees.
