[Yamagata Prefecture/Shonai Shrine] I'm glad I went in 2023! Yamagata Shrine ④

Founded in 1877 on the former site of Tsurugaoka Castle. The lord of the Sakai clan is enshrined here. The treasure exhibition displayed weapons, arts and crafts related to the lord. There were also many fortune-telling slips, and I received one in the shape of a rabbit, the zodiac sign of the year. The shrine office distributed commemorative goshuin and votive plaques in collaboration with Touken Ranbu ONLINE. The vibrant floral designs were lovely.
