Surprisingly… no insane lines, no midnight reservations, just good timing & a little luck 🍀 (Some places had a tiny wait but never over 2 hours! 🥰) Plus some serious bang-for-your-buck (CP value) gems — sharing them ALL‼️ ⸻ 1️⃣ Yakiniku Like a Boss @ Yakiniku Jojoen (Tokyo Skytree) 🗼🥩 Arrived at 10:30am when they opened — NO QUEUE! Got the perfect window seat with a gorgeous Skytree view 🌇 Set lunch is totally worth it 🉐 — great grilled meat, satisfying portions. Tip: even the cheapest set is good enough! 💴 Around ¥3500 ⸻ 2️⃣ Komeraku Ochazuke Heaven (Shinjuku Lumine EST) 🍵🍚 Went on a weekend at 3pm — ZERO queue. You must try their ochazuke — fresh ingredients with fragrant tea broth 🥹💚 So comforting and flavorful!! 💴 Around ¥1600 ⸻ 3️⃣ Tori Tamura Yakitori Izakaya (Shinjuku) 🍢🏮 Totally random find while strolling! Feels super local 🇯🇵 If unsure what to order, grab the yakitori set (6 sticks) — warning: some parts are offal (adventurous eaters only 😏) Also ordered a surprise porridge-like dish that turned out amazing 🤤 💴 Around ¥2500 ⸻ 4️⃣ Tsura TonTan Udon (Tokyu Plaza Ginza) 🍜🦐 Got a queue number at 11:30am — 90 people ahead 🤯 but no panic — spent 1.5 hrs shopping inside Tokyu Plaza 🛍️ View of Ginza city from the top 🌆 Udon was chewy, bouncy perfection 👍 tempura batter light & crispy 😋 💴 Around ¥1500 ⸻ 5️⃣ Ichiba Sushi (Toyosu Market) 🍣🐟 Arrived at 10:30am — waited only 10 mins!! 🔥 So many sushi spots here, some with scary lines, but this one’s a hidden gem 🤫 Fresh, fresh, fresh — local feel, not touristy, price reasonable for Toyosu! 💴 Around ¥5000 ⸻ 📅 June 2024 💰 Prices in JPY (yen) #japanitinerary
