Famous attractions in Tianshui City, Gansu Province, China: Fuxi Temple, suitable for checking in and taking photos📸

#Mainland Travel Tianshui City, Gansu Province, China is a world-famous tourist resort city. Every day, thousands of tourists come here for sightseeing and vacation. There are many scenic spots in Tianshui City. This time I will introduce a very famous local attraction: Fuxi Temple. The ticket price is 20 RMB. In this ancient and magical land of Tianshui, the Fuxi Temple stands quietly like an immortal cultural monument. It was first built in the 19th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty. After years of carving and baptism, it still exudes a unique charm. The Fuxi Temple was originally named Taihao Palace, commonly known as the Renzong Temple. It is the best-preserved temple dedicated to Fuxi in the Ming Dynasty in China and is known as the "No. 1 Temple in China." It was built in the seventh year of Zhizheng period of the Yuan Dynasty (1347). In the third year of Hongzhi period (1490), the temple was rebuilt on the basis of the original "Three Emperors" Temple and was named "Fuxi Temple". The Fuxi Temple faces north and south, with the main buildings arranged along the central axis in a corridor-style layout, four entrances and four courtyards, and 88 buildings of various sizes. The theater at the southernmost end has been separated by Fuxi Road. From the theater, heading north, you will enter the front yard, middle yard, back yard and back garden in order. - Main Buildings Xiantian Hall: also known as the main hall or the great hall, it is located in the center of the rear part of the central courtyard. It is the main building of the complex, with a double-eaved hip roof. The statue of Fuxi in the hall is more than 3 meters tall, holding the Eight Trigrams in his hands and with a sharp gaze. Taiji Hall: Also known as the Retreat Hall, Sleeping Hall, and Sleeping Palace, it is located in the center of the rear part of the third courtyard. It was built according to the convention of "palace in front and bedroom in the rear". It has a single-eaved hip roof covered with green glazed tiles, and under the eaves there are five-step double-ang (false ang) brackets. Inside is a seated statue of Fuxi. Archway: There were originally three archways in the Fuxi Temple, namely "Kai Tian Ming Dao", "Ji Tian Li Ji" and "Kai Wu Cheng Wu". The "Kai Tian Ming Dao" archway is located in front of the gate, on a platform, and was built in the second year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty. Yimen: Also known as the Second Gate, it was built in the second year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, it was inscribed with "Wenzu". In the Qing Dynasty, it was replaced with a plaque of "Dao Qi Hongmeng". Now it hangs a plaque of "Fuxi Temple" by the famous calligrapher Chu Tunan.
