Then I took a quick train to Ayutthaya to see ancient temple ruins, a peaceful break from the city buzz. For beach vibes, Krabi was a dream with turquoise waters and dramatic limestone cliffs — and yes, island-hopping here is a must. Accommodation is affordable, and street food is everywhere, making Thailand perfect for budget travellers without missing out on luxury experiences.
