I always like to stop by Japanese sweets shops when I travel. On the way back from a stay in Mie Prefecture, I stopped by this Japanese sweets shop. Their buns, made with various ingredients depending on the season, are delicious. You can enjoy the most delicious seasonal treats, such as sakura mochi, myoga mochi, and strawberry daifuku. Prices start from around 120 yen, so they're very cheap, even though they're handmade. There are things that people of all ages can enjoy, such as dango and red rice, which you can make by reservation. The cakes and Western sweets are good, but I felt like supporting a private shop with a calm atmosphere like this. The customer service from the wife was heartwarming, and I want to go back again.
