Suzhou (also known as Gusu) is an incredibly beautiful city, offering expansive street views and a wealth of cultural heritage and stories at every turn. From the Cold Mountain Temple outside Gusu City, the centuries-old Tiger Hill that predates the Leaning Tower of Pisa, to the Lingering Garden, the Humble Administrator's Garden, Pingjiang Road, and the Suzhou Museum—each dynasty has left its mark here. The history you've read about feels so close, blending reality with contrast in a way that is uncompromisingly stunning. Even the design of Suzhou Railway Station is awe-inspiring. It's a fantastic city, well worth visiting again.
