Dinner at Lawry’s felt like a proper night out—elegant, unhurried, and all about the classics. The restaurant sits right in the middle of Orchard, but once you’re inside, everything slows down. Big windows, plush leather booths, white tablecloths, and that quiet hum of silverware and soft jazz—it’s got that timeless, old-world steakhouse charm that never goes out of style. We came for the prime rib, and it didn’t disappoint. The beef was carved tableside from the signature silver cart (which honestly feels like a mini show of its own), and served exactly how we ordered—medium rare, with a warm pink center and melt-in-the-mouth tenderness. The accompanying mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and spinning bowl salad made the whole thing feel nostalgic in the best way.
