Candle procession on Asalha Bucha Day at Suan Santitham Temple 🙏🏻✨

#VisitChonburi On the past Asalha Bucha Day, our family and I traveled to Wat Suan Santitham in Si Racha District, Chonburi Province to join the Dharma listening and candlelight procession activities, which are considered important activities in Buddhism, especially on the day of remembrance of the Buddha's teachings. This time, we had a great opportunity to listen to a sermon from Luang Por Pramote Pamojjo, a highly respected teacher in the Satipatthana meditation tradition. His sermon was simple but profound. Listening to it made my heart feel calmer without realizing it. Although there were quite a few people who came to pay homage and join the candlelight procession, the atmosphere was peaceful and filled with faith. Before the candlelight procession, we meditated for a short period amidst the nature of the temple, surrounded by trees and shade. The atmosphere was like recharging our spirits. Circumventing the candlelight three times around the chapel in the evening, amidst the candlelight and the quiet of nature, made us feel deeply peaceful in our hearts and was one of the moments we wanted to keep as a beautiful memory of this year. Wat Suan Santitham is therefore not only a place to practice Dharma, but also a place to rest our minds and let them take a break from the chaos.
