Shiga: A Place I Can't Forget! 🇯🇵✨

#summervacay Shiga truly is a place that stays with you. I found it to be incredibly comfortable, with few crowds and beautiful scenery – absolutely perfect for a relaxing trip, especially if you're traveling with elderly family members. Getting there was straightforward: I took the JR from Kyoto Station for about 30 minutes until I reached Shiga Station. From there, I had to wait a bit for a shuttle bus, which then took me to the base of the mountain. The highlight was definitely the 360-degree panoramic cable car ride up to the summit. The views from the top were truly healing for both my eyes and my soul! The mountaintop cafe also deserves a shout-out – their coffee was delicious, and the ice cream was fantastic. Everywhere I looked was a perfect photo opportunity; I'd recommend shooting with a wide-angle lens if you have one.
