Checking off the top three steakhouses in Shanghai! Scenic dining guide

As one of Shanghai's three classic steakhouses, I've finally tried Roosevelt Steakhouse 🐮. During Restaurant Week, the price of over 700 RMB for two was just okay. The elevator has a strong retro vibe, especially the vintage clock. Located on the 8th floor of the Bund, the restaurant offers stunning river views from indoors. I booked a scenic spot on the glass-ceilinged terrace, with a direct view of the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Tower. The view is amazing, with all the buildings along the Huangpu River in full sight. 🩷 **Appetizers** Opted for smoked salmon, which was decent. The restaurant's homemade duck spring rolls were cold, tiny, and just one bite. 🧡 **Main Course** Ordered sirloin and filet, both medium-rare. The meat was fairly tender, but I preferred the sirloin for its richer flavor. 💛 **Creamy Mushroom Risotto** Probably worried we'd still be hungry, the set included this risotto—but the rice was overcooked. So bad. 💚 **Dessert** The cake was dry and mediocre. The trio of artisanal ice cream tasted like cheap buffet-style sherbet—truly awful 🆘. 🩵 **Drinks** The pineapple juice was just diluted concentrate. Honestly, a bit disappointing—just checking it off the list.
