🧡 Wukang Mansion Review – A Classic Corner of Shanghai That You Will Never Get Bored of Taking Photos If you only have half a day in Shanghai and have to choose one place to take photos, chill out, and walk around to get the full foreign feel — we would choose Wukang Mansion. This building is an old French-style building located on the corner of Wukang Road and Huaihai Road (west side). The building is a beautiful classic curve, like a scene from an old French movie. If you come during the evening or good sunlight, you will get beautiful photos from every angle, no need to try at all. When we went, there weren't many people, so we could walk around without rushing. The road in that area was lined with beautiful trees. Walking around felt like we were in another world. 🛍️ Recommended shops near Wukang Mansion This area is very chic, with cafes, tea shops, and local brand clothing stores that are so cute that you can easily grab a bite. 🍵 1. Chagee – A Chinese-style milk tea shop with a super cool design. This branch is located in a good corner, just a few steps from the front of the Wukang building. The shop is decorated in a modern-chinese minimal Minimal but slightly luxurious. Recommended menus are Oolong milk tea or Tieguanyin latte, fragrant, smooth and not too sweet. 🍵 2. The Matcha Tokyo – A green tea cafe from Japan that is currently popular. This branch is in a modern building next to Wukang Mansion, not too far away. The shop is beautifully decorated like a simple Japanese cafe. The real green tea is strong, with a slight bitterness at the end, which matcha lovers must love. The signature menus are matcha latte and matcha soft serve, which are very refreshing! 👗 3. Local brand clothing stores – There are many cool designer clothing stores on Wukang Road and Anfu Road nearby, such as “1co.local” or “Klee Klee”, which focus on craft work, comfortable fabrics, and earth tones. If you are a minimalist or like Japanese-Korean fashion, you will scream.
