This restaurant is located on the way up to Kasuga Shrine, on the bridge over the river, before reaching the stairs to the shrine. 🍜 This restaurant is called “Misuyachaya”. It mainly sells udon, but it also sells snacks and drinks such as green tea, beer, parfait, and red bean mochi. 🍜 The highlight of this restaurant is the thatched roof made of old-fashioned grass. During the autumn foliage season, tourists like to come here to eat and take pictures because this restaurant is located near the river and has a red momiji tree as a background. The view is very beautiful. 🍜 The restaurant opens from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We arrived at noon and ordered a regular udon. With chicken udon, the taste is delicious, not as bland as I thought, the noodles are chewy and soft, the soup is well-rounded. 🍜 After eating, we took some pictures around the shop. There was a deer walking around. Tourists wanted to give it other food, but it didn't care.
