The dish unexpectedly became a hit and has since evolved into a cultural phenomenon in Okinawa. One notable spot to try TACO RICE is Pico Shokudo, located near Shuri Castle. This well-known restaurant has transformed a traditional old apartment into a cozy eatery. With only about ten seats, it has become a beloved destination for locals and tourists alike. The dish features spiced meat, shredded lettuce, corn chips, mayonnaise, rice, and hot sauce.
