Melbourne, Australia's city alive with art and sensibility

#July Travel Support Fund Melbourne was the most cultural and sensual city in Australia. As soon as I arrived, the sophisticated cityscape and hidden art works in every alley caught my eye. I started my trip at Flinders Street Station. The contrast between the old buildings and the modern architecture of Federation Square across the street allowed me to feel the unique atmosphere of Melbourne. As I entered the alley, street art filled Hosier Lane was spread out, making it a great place to take pictures. As expected of a city famous for its cafe culture, I took a break while sitting in a small alley cafe and enjoying a Melbourne-style flat white. The State Library of Victoria and the Melbourne Museum were places where I could feel the city's history and art together. A completely different scenery unfolded when I got a little out of the city. I took a leisurely walk and watched the sunset at St. Kilda Beach, and the evening walk along the Yarra River added to the city's romantic atmosphere. Melbourne was a city where art, history, and a leisurely lifestyle coexisted.
