The absolute best hotel I've stayed at in LA - no competition! Will definitely return. An amazing resort hotel - off-season travel is such a steal! Stayed a whole week without breaking the bank, you know what I mean? The hotel occupies the site of a landmark that opened in 1966, formerly hosting the Grammys and Emmys with many celebrities walking its red carpet. Now completely renovated, it blends sophisticated modernity with nostalgic old Hollywood vibes - truly unique. Located in Century City, it's a quiet yet convenient neighborhood. Right across is Westfield shopping center, with great Japanese restaurants, Haidilao hotpot, and a cinema just steps away - so easy to return to your room after exploring. Beverly Hills is less than 10 minutes by car - super accessible everywhere. Room details really impressed me - maintaining classic elegance while adding thoughtful upgrades like adjustable lighting systems. The room service menu features adorable movie character illustrations and "Movie Night" snack options - delivery was surprisingly fast!! The balcony isn't huge but has great views overlooking LA's skyline - the night view is absolutely romantic. Dining is another highlight. The lobby's Lumière restaurant offers French cuisine using California ingredients - their steak and roasted vegetable platter were delicious. Their famous afternoon tea includes celebrity-inspired pastries, even using honey from local LA farms - every dessert is exquisitely crafted. The 24-hour gym is fully equipped - I spotted some local professionals working out in the mornings. After tiring out, the massive 14,000 sq ft spa is perfect for relaxation - their neck/shoulder massage was heavenly! Bonus: The hotel offers free bicycle rentals. With clean, flat roads, I highly recommend a morning ride - seeing LA at dawn is truly therapeutic!
