The hotel is located next to quaint streets, and you can walk to the most authentic Kyoto scenery. Despite its prime location, the service experience from the moment you enter the hotel is a bit disappointing. Some of the staff's attitudes are unpleasant, the front desk service seems unprofessional, and there was even a breach of agreement upon checkout, which was really embarrassing. The decoration incorporates elements of Japanese architecture and a modern, low-key luxury style, but the hardware facilities do not seem to match the price. In terms of the stay experience, although the room design is somewhat lacking, the Japanese-style landscaped balcony can still provide us with a quiet and beautiful angle to overlook the Yasaka Pagoda. The interior of the room has walnut-colored furniture, maintaining Hyatt's consistent high-end style. The size of the room and the comfort of the bed are not bad, especially some rooms also have garden terraces where you can leisurely enjoy an afternoon. However, many VIP guests are dissatisfied with the room type and can only sit facing the wall in the end, and the stone wall outside the window is very depressing. However, other services provided by the hotel, such as turndown service and small surprises such as handmade paper animals, are heartwarming. You can explore Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka on foot and feel the beauty and tranquility before morning arrives. There are also many restaurants nearby to choose from, such as Wagyu Teppanyaki Steak House Kiyomizu Sou and Kyoto Katsuda, which can satisfy your taste buds. In addition, you may wish to take a walk to the nearby Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine to explore Kyoto's unique temple atmosphere, or take a walk in Kiyomizu-dera Temple and enjoy a cultural tour.
