"Wings of the East: Netaji Airport Kolkata"

I recently traveled through Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. From arrival to departure, everything was well-organized and thoughtfully designed to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey. First off, the accessibility to the airport is convenient, with well-connected roadways and various transport options including app-based cabs and pre-paid taxis. As soon as I entered the airport premises, the clean and structured layout caught my attention. The exterior landscaping and architecture blend modern aesthetics with a hint of Bengal’s traditional charm. Inside the terminal, the check-in process was quick and hassle-free. The staff at the counters were courteous, well-trained, and eager to help. Even during peak hours, the lines moved efficiently, which is something every traveler appreciates. The security process was also smooth and systematic, with clear instructions and a respectful approach from the personnel. One of the things I enjoyed most was the ambiance of the departure lounge. The terminal is well-lit, spacious, and air-conditioned — providing a calm and relaxing environment. There are plenty of seating areas, charging points, and digital screens displaying real-time flight information. The cleanliness of the airport is commendable, with restrooms being regularly maintained. In terms of amenities, the airport offers a variety of food courts and snack bars. I especially enjoyed tasting some regional snacks while waiting for my flight. There are also several retail outlets and souvenir shops where travelers can pick up last-minute gifts or local specialties. The duty-free section, although compact, is well-stocked with essentials. One feature that stood out was the artistic tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. His portraits, quotes, and installations placed throughout the terminal evoke a sense of pride and connect travelers to Kolkata’s historical roots. It’s a subtle yet powerful reminder of the city’s legacy. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Whether you're arriving in or departing from Kolkata, this airport reflects the city's warmth, efficiency, and cultural richness. I look forward to flying through here again soon. 🏖️BAmbiance/Facilities:Lounge Facilities #kolkata #netaji #airport #cityofjoy
