Kenrokuen Garden, located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is one of Japan's three most famous gardens. The former Kaga Domain was known as the domain of one million koku of rice. Successive lords of the Kaga Domain spent many years developing it. It is known as a representative feudal lord garden of the Edo period, and is a place where you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. It has now become a tourist destination visited by tourists from all over the world. One of the distinctive features of Kenrokuen is that it is a stroll-style garden. Making the most of the vastness of the land, you can wander around the large pond, stopping at teahouses and pavilions. There are plenty of things to see, such as the Karasaki pine and the Kiji lanterns!
