[Mie] Start your visit to Ise Shrine with the Outer Shrine

I've always wanted to visit Ise Shrine. As is custom, I started by visiting the Outer Shrine (Toyouke Daijingu). Toyouke Omikami is the god who provides food for Amaterasu Omikami at the Inner Shrine, and is also revered as the guardian deity of food, clothing, shelter, and industry. I went around each shrine in order, and some places were quite crowded with queues, so it's probably best to allow yourself plenty of time. #trip2023#pilgrimagetoise
