Huangshan - Hongcun ancient village

📍Where: Huangshan, Anhui. This 900 years old village is located 1 hour away from Huangshan North railway station. (We hired a driver. You could also take a DiDi if you’d like to.) There’s also a bus you could take from the railway (Not sure about the frequency.) ⏰ Suggested time : 3-4 hours. A lot of the buildings in the village of Hongcun can date back to the Song Dynasty. This beautiful place. also called “the ancient village in Chinese paintings”, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. Pay particular attention to the large tree located at the West gate 1 , it’s 500 years old! I recommend you book a hotel in the ancient village. I stayed at the Floral Hotel and I was very impressed! I highly recommend it (I posted a photo of the hotel’s information). From there, Yellow Mountain is about 35mins away.
