Tang Lau Experience Center

Located opposite PMQ in Central, at 88 Staunton Street, the Tang Lau Experience Center is open to the public for free from Wednesday to Sunday. Visitors must make a reservation via WhatsApp at least 72 hours in advance, with a limit of ten people per hour. The experience center occupies one floor of a Grade II historic building, while other floors are still inhabited by residents. Inside, you can find old Hong Kong artifacts such as bunk beds, kerosene stoves, and vintage electric meters. The stairwell features murals depicting the newspaper publishing process, complementing the nearby Hong Kong News-Expo. The rooftop area is accessible, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding Central business district. Although the experience center is relatively small, it is recommended to also visit PMQ, the News-Expo, the nearby Wing Lee Street (a filming location for the movie "Echoes of the Rainbow"), Man Mo Temple, the Medical Museum, and enjoy a meal at the famous Kau Kee Beef Brisket, all located nearby.
