So much beauty to see at Cut River Bridge

Located on U.S. Rte 2 along the Lake Michigan shorline is Cut River Bridge. It is one of only two cantilevered steel deck truss bridges in MI. It's 147 feet above the Cut River and is 641 feet long. It was originally constructed in the 1940's. It overlooks the shoreline of the lake and has steps going all the way down to the lake as well as the Cut River runs right down and opens up into the lake. This stop offered beautiful views of the fall foliage at every angle and we enjoyed hiking under the bridge and along the river.
