Is this the right way to experience a Guizhou getaway?

❄️ For the last stop of my Guizhou trip, Huangguoshu Waterfall, I chose a hidden gem nestled beside the falls: the Banyan Tree Huangguoshu Hotel, which brought me unexpected surprises. - ❄️The service is a gentle, subtle caress. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by staff in traditional ethnic attire offering hot towels infused with aromatherapy oils and Miao silver necklaces. Shuttle buses traversed the forest paths, and a butler provided attentive service throughout my stay. - ❄️The room was stocked with Banyan Tree's selected Pu'er tea and custom-made fragrances. During turndown service, a warm sweet soup was delivered, and even the mini bar featured local specialties like blood orange juice and wildflower tea. I especially enjoyed the hotel's meals, starting with a delightful breakfast. Both Chinese and Western options were impressive, and I highly recommend the Changwang Noodles – they were so good I couldn't stop eating! (Tip: You can have your meals delivered to your room). The sour soup fish for dinner was truly delicious – sour, rich, and fragrant. I personally found it even tastier than the ones in Miao villages. - ❄️I particularly loved the hot springs here. The water emerges at 53°C, a temperature that curiously echoes the classic proof of Moutai liquor. Twenty-six outdoor pools are scattered throughout the valley, each with its own unique character. - ❄️In addition, each room is equipped with a private hot spring pool. Imagine soaking in the hot spring while watching the morning mist or gazing at the starry night sky while listening to the gentle roar of the waterfall – a truly luxurious and private experience. - ❄️The hotel also has a batik workshop where I experienced the intangible cultural heritage of handmade batik. A Miao grandmother deftly guided the copper knife, and beeswax flowed along the lines of the totem, creating the desired patterns and characters on the white cotton cloth. It was quite fascinating. - ❄️The most stunning feature of the hotel is undoubtedly the hexagonal waterfall-viewing tea room. This three-story building, hidden in the forest, offers a panoramic view of the magnificent Huangguoshu Waterfall. No need to jostle with the crowds at the scenic spot – it's truly a treat! Enjoy a poetic afternoon tea here with a pot of Jingmai Mountain ancient tree Pu'er tea, accompanied by cream cake, savory pastries, and seasonal fresh fruit. The aroma of tea mingles with the waterfall's mist, creating a scene reminiscent of a traditional Chinese ink painting. Remember to book in advance! - This is not just a haven during your journey; it's a journey of natural healing that awakens all five senses. From the natural hot springs welling up from the earth, the ritualistic and attentive service, the culinary delights of the mountains and fields, to the poetic moments of waterfall viewing and tea tasting, every detail embodies the ultimate essence of "Oriental lifestyle aesthetics."
