Walking Through Time in Tamsui!!

When you arrive at Tamsui Station via MRT from Taipei, you'll be greeted by a familiar yet foreign landscape, gently caressed by the sea breeze. On that day, I decided to quietly stroll through Tamsui, following the backdrop of the movie 'Secret (不能說的祕密)'. 📍 Aletheia University – A Place Where Time and Memories Linger Aletheia University, with its charming red brick buildings and lush gardens, is the very campus where Jay Chou and Kwai Lun-Mei shared moments in the movie. Walking through the serene campus, I couldn't help but recall scenes of Xianglun and Xiaoyu strolling together. Standing in front of the building where the famous piano scene was filmed, I felt as if the emotions of that era were still lingering here. The sunlight, the breeze, and even the texture of the old tiles seemed to bring the past to life. 🪑 Zhenli Street – A Movie-Inspired Alley Perfect for a Leisurely Walk Exiting the university and following the alley, you can fully immerse yourself in the daily life of Tamsui. Zhenli Street (真理街) is narrow and unassuming, yet filled with the laughter of students, quaint tea shops, and vintage signboards—just like the simple and warm scenery depicted in the movie. That day, I retraced the scenes from the film, revisiting the emotions of that time, and spent a truly special day in Tamsui.
