The stunning freshwater lake, surrounded by modern architecture like the iconic Wales Millennium Centre, makes for a truly picturesque setting. I loved strolling along Mermaid Quay, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the diverse range of restaurants and cafes. The Barrage offers fantastic views, and learning about its engineering feat was fascinating.
