Pingshan Town 🏮

We arrived in Pingshan Town just as the sun slipped over the ridgelines, casting a warm hush across the tiled roofs and weathered white walls of ancestral halls 🌄🏯🌿. The streets unfolded slowly, lined with stone bridges, quiet courtyards, and wooden doorways etched with time. Roosters called from somewhere unseen, and the scent of rice and firewood drifted lazily in the air. Children played beneath ancient camphor trees, their laughter echoing off the walls once walked by scholars and storytellers 📚👣🌳. Small altars glowed in corners, their red candles flickering like hearts still beating for the past. Pingshan didn’t rush to impress it welcomed gently, like an old friend with stories best told over tea and twilight.
