The sowing time may be slightly different in different parts of the province. Some areas will have two rice crops throughout the year while others will only have one. The rest of the time the land will be left fallow or some miscellaneous grains will be planted. The landscape of Xinshe Terraces is very beautiful. In addition to the terraces, there is the vast Pacific Ocean in front and the coastal mountains behind. In addition, there is an area of ​​installation creation next to the terraces. Although we drove all the way up from Pingtung along the Provincial Highway No. 9 of the Blue Coast, we passed through the Hualien-Taitung Valley, crossed the Yuchang Tunnel of the Provincial Highway No. 30 Yuchang Highway, and then took the Provincial Highway No. 11 to arrive at the Xinshe Terraces.
