The symbolic Edinburgh Castle

Sitting on top of Edinburgh Castle Rock, Edinburgh Castle offers a commanding view of the entire city. If the weather is good, you can see the scenery on the other side. Having witnessed wars throughout the ages, the St. Margaret's Chapel, built in the early 12th century, still stands. The Stone of Destiny, which was used during the coronation of King Charles III, will return to Perth City Hall in the spring of 2024. There is also a 1pm gun firing ceremony where you can see the Dropping of Time Ball on Nelson Monument. #edinburgh #edinburghcastle
