Sunyata is a hotel brand that I had been eyeing for a few years, and this trip to Dali was my first experience with it~🎈 Located on Yeyu Road in Dali Ancient City, just around the corner from the bustling Renmin Road. The hotel's style blends local culture with a wabi-sabi aesthetic. Despite the limited public space, the hotel offers a rich array of "exhibitions," featuring highly designed furniture and lighting💡, local artifacts collected from various parts of Yunnan, and miniature landscapes. Although the space is not large, it's evident that every frame is thoughtfully curated. 🛏️ The bedding in the room is very comfortable, the only downside being that the facilities are a bit outdated and the room is somewhat small. In terms of service, the butler informs you of the hotel's basic information and services in advance after booking. They also provide afternoon tea🍵, goodnight desserts🍰, and breakfast details. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast and afternoon tea were different each day, but both were very thoughtfully prepared. During our stay, we asked the butler to help wash some clothes. I initially thought the washing and drying would be done by a machine, but when I went to the rooftop, I found that each piece was air-dried manually. When we left, each piece was neatly folded and handed to us in a canvas bag. It was truly a hassle for them😍😍😍 Finally, looking forward to the next trip and the next encounter with Sunyata at a different destination.
