Walking through a canyon shaped by light and wind

Antelope Canyon. In the narrow crevice where sunlight poured in, I forgot even to breathe. The beams of light flowing along the rock textures, and the red, smoothly carved walls felt almost alive. The overwhelming scale of the Grand Canyon, the graceful curves seen from Horseshoe Bend, the forest of rock pillars at Bryce Canyon, and the endlessly stretching canyons of Zion. As I traveled this path, my mind grew quieter, and my heart felt lighter. A place where wind and light outnumber people.
