Xinglong Temple in Chuxiong

Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan - Xinglong Temple is located on Yunquan Road in Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province. In the eleventh year of the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1378), Master Fade led his disciples to establish the temple, naming it 'Shouji Temple'. Initially, the Daxiong Treasure Hall with five rooms was constructed, and it was completed in the following year (1379), housing three Buddha statues inside. In the center was Sakyamuni Buddha, to the left was Amitabha Buddha, and to the right was the Medicine Buddha. After the completion of the great hall, Master Fade invited more than thirty elders from nearby monasteries to hold a consecration ceremony.
