#Wat Rong Suea Ten #Chiang Rai Wat Rong Suea Ten is located in Rong Suea Ten community, Rim Kok sub-district, Mueang district, Chiang Rai province. Admire the beauty of the blue chapel, built in the applied Thai art style with unique beauty from the creation of Mr. Phutta Kabkaew or Salanok, a local artist from Chiang Rai who used to be a student of Ajarn Chalermchai Khositphiphat. It is a unique applied art using shades of blue and sky blue contrasting with gold. The various patterns flow, especially the Naga staircase sculpture that uses the same shades of color, which is graceful and has patterns that are clearly different from general sculptures. When entering Wat Rong Suea Ten, you must be amazed by the beauty of the temple, which is different from the general temple construction style. Starting from the front of the temple, there is an impressive temple gate arch built as the Naga King, Thao Mucalinda, and Pu Si Suttho. Next is the roundabout built as Phra Upakut, the chief disciple of the Lord Buddha, before entering the temple's chapel, which is beautifully magnificent with contemporary Buddhist sculptures. This temple is defined as a divine place, which is a tribute to the Lord Buddha in both sculpture and painting. When people enter with good intentions, they will observe the precepts, leading to concentration and wisdom. The sculpture of the Naga stairs using the same color shades is graceful and the patterns are clearly different from general sculptures. In particular, the Naga's fangs are graceful and swaying. Inside the temple, there are mural paintings about the life of the Lord Buddha using blue and light blue shades with graceful patterns. There is a white principal Buddha image, 6.50 meters high and 5 meters wide at the lap, called "Phra Phuttha Ratchamongkhon Bodi Trilokanath". There are 88,000 Phra Rod Lamphun and many gems, silver, and gold buried under this Buddha image. In addition, the head contains the relics of the Lord Buddha, which were bestowed by His Holiness Somdej Phra Nyanasamvara, Somdej Phra Sangharaja, and was also given the name Phra Phuttha Ratchamongkhon Bodi Trilokanath, which means "The Lord Buddha is auspicious, the king, and the refuge of the three worlds."
