Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan 🌿Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, it is one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand. It has a large prang decorated with glazed tiles and Benjarong bowls. It was built in the Ayutthaya period, before the reign of King Narai the Great. Inside the temple, there is also an ordination hall and important Buddha images. 🌿Yak Wat Chaeng or the giant guarding the door of the crown-shaped arch in front of the ordination hall on the east side of Wat Arun Ratchawararam. There are two important ones: Yak Sahasadecha (white) and Yak Thotsakan (green). Both were born in the late reign of King Rama III.
