Khaleela Canggu, Bali: A Stylish Villa with a Few Quibbles 🌴🏡

#summervacay When choosing a stay in Canggu at a comparable price point, I settled on Khaleela, and I must say, the reality matched the photos perfectly – it looks great both day and night! The Upsides: Cleanliness, Comfort, and Convenience Convenient Location: It's about a 10-minute scooter ride to the beach, which is quite convenient. Impeccable Cleanliness: The villa truly stands out for its cleanliness. We had three staff members come daily for cleaning, including one specifically dedicated to the pool. This attention to detail ensured no mosquitoes or bugs in the room. Excellent Amenities: The water pressure and heat in the shower were fantastic. The pool was also deeper than typical villa pools, making it suitable for actual swimming. Late-Night Deliveries: Being able to order anything via late-night delivery was incredibly convenient. Well-Equipped Kitchen: The villa comes with a kitchen, complete with cooking utensils and a coffee machine. A Few Downsides: Noise and Lack of Traditional Hotel Service Noise Issues: The biggest drawback for me was the noise. We could hear motorbikes from outside, and people taking photos right by our entrance were quite loud, disrupting the peaceful vibe. Minor Inconveniences: The hairdryer was tiny; my hair dried faster naturally outdoors! Also, there's no traditional room service. Breakfast and other decorative services are outsourced to third parties, and there's no laundry service, which isn't very convenient. If you prefer a full-service hotel experience, this might not be the best fit. Mini-Bar: The mini-bar in the small kitchen lacked beverages; you had to order them via delivery yourself. Overall Verdict Overall, at this price point, I found that staying at a hotel in Seminyak offers a more comfortable experience, especially for someone like me who values comprehensive hotel services and a good breakfast.
