Amalfi Coast, Italy

If you go further south from Rome in Italy, you will reach the Amalfi Coast, famous for its beautiful beaches. We flew to Naples and took a train from Naples to Salerno. Italian trains are famous for frequent delays, so we stayed overnight in Salerno and went to Positano by boat. I think it took about 45 minutes. From Salerno, the boat goes around Amalfi, Positano, and Capri in that order. It seems that you can also go by bus or car, but I wanted to see it from the sea, so I traveled by boat. You can buy tickets for the boat at the pier. There are many companies, so it's best to decide based on the time! We spent two days and one night in Positano and Amalfi, but I wanted to enjoy the spectacular view a little more, so I think it would be better to stay three nights, but it's not that big, so you can do both in one day each. In Amalfi, the lemon beer and seafood tempura are very delicious!! (Last photo) I ordered something called Cica, which contains squid and various seafood. I think it was about 20 euros for two. Prices in both places are quite high, and some restaurants charge 30 euros for pasta. There is a supermarket, so if you want to save money, it's a good idea to use it. As for accommodation, I think B&Bs are better located than hotels and have nice views, but you have to go up and down stairs, so it's quite tiring. If you have a lot of luggage, a hotel might be better. The best season is definitely summer. All photos were taken with an iPhone, but the place is so beautiful that even an amateur can take beautiful photos, so I highly recommend it! ! Sandals seem to be famous in this area, and in Positano there were several shops that make sandals to fit the shape of your feet. You can have low heels or flat sandals. You can choose the color and add things like beads. I'll make some next time I go.
