The scenery here is indeed breathtaking, and due to the limited number of people allowed on the island, it feels particularly quiet. At night, the streets are almost empty, so quiet that it feels a bit eerie. The trip was scheduled from May 1st to 5th. For transportation, I first traveled from Guangzhou South to Beihai, then took a ferry. I chose a hotel that offered free pier shuttle service (provided by the owner), which also had a swimming pool, quite distinctive. On the island, you can choose to ride tuk-tuks, but we opted to rent electric bikes, which allowed us to roam freely (charged by the day). The weather was sunny, perfect for a morning swim in the hotel pool. I don't recommend going out at noon when the sun is too strong, unless you're visiting some attractions. It's better to go out again from 3 to 4 pm, very leisurely and comfortable.
