Introduction Pottery Classes in Singapore

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Singapore, this vibrant garden city, invites you to step into a unique pottery class, where you can start a creative adventure at your fingertips in the collision of urban prosperity and multiculturalism.

Rich course content: Courses usually start at 2 hours and combine Asian and Western pottery features. Local clay is combined with international popular glazes, and students learn to knead and throw pottery wheels to create works that are both ethnic and modern. Students will personally create multiple Singaporean-style pottery works in one class, and take away their works after graduation to continue their artistic passion.

Sophisticated class size and strong faculty: The class size is moderate, which is not only conducive to communication, but also allows students to share their experiences in Singapore, while teachers provide guidance, creating an active atmosphere and giving rise to creative inspiration. The ceramic artists who teach the course are experienced and may have different cultural backgrounds. They not only have superb skills, but also have a deep understanding of the aesthetics of ceramics. Their teaching methods are flexible and diverse, combining practical and theoretical methods to help students master core skills in a short period of time.

Facilities and Equipment: Flexible course times to suit all types of itineraries. The venues are usually spacious and modern, allowing you to experience the charm of the Lion City and add color to pottery. Pottery tools are available from basic pottery wheels, molds to advanced carving tools, etc., and there are various electric turntables. Multiple intelligent electric kilns, precise temperature control, efficient firing, and the rhythm of creation are met.

Singapore's ceramics are deeply influenced by diverse cultures, integrating traditional Asian and modern art styles. Students will experience the fun of clay modeling in the course, while gaining a deeper understanding of the city's unique ceramic history and cultural charm, leaving behind exclusive memories of the Lion City and opening up new artistic horizons.

Towering over the surrounding landscape, this iconic structure is a true masterpiece of modern architecture, and an engineering marvel that is not to be missed. One of the most striking things about the Transformer is its sheer size and scale. Lebanese Food at Tabbouleh

Location - Tabbouleh Address - 54 Bussorah Street, Singapore 199470 Ambiance/Facilities - Great Lebanese interior deco Highlights - Great food and location is near Haji Lane Avg. Price per Person - $30 Rating - 5 stars A great place for middle eastern food. My partner and I went for a casual lunch and decided to try something different after strolling along Haji Lane. We chanced upon Tabbouleh and decided to give it a try. We had the Mezza Platter and Shish Tawouk for sharing. The food far exceeded our expectations and it was really great. We enjoyed them and will definitely be back here for more in the future! The location is great as well. It is right at Haji Lane and next to the Sultan Mosque. You could even stroll around and get some shopping done after the meal. #summervacation#urbanexplorer

Afternoon Tea during Lunch

Afternoon tea is literally during afternoon time from lunch to 3pm. I feel that this is the shortest tea break at odd time. Came too late for check in so I just had time spent here for one hour before it ends. I love their charcoal sandwich with cheese cucumber inside and salmon on top. It taste super good. While the rest are too sweet for me although not bad also. All are self-service and can take as much as we want. After this, we will have to wait until 6pm to the evening cocktail. Oddly, it always within meal time. But I think almost similar to Ritz, however here the meals are not as heavy and complete as Ritz. #passionpassport #urbanexplorer #singapore #muststay

An Island Just Across the causeway

Item : Siloso Beach , Sentosa , Singapore Location : 1.2550° N, 103.8145° E Getting here : Take the Sentosa express and alight at Beach station. Actually the whole island is walkable so you can literally walk every where. But, if you are lazy or the weather is scorching hot there is a beach shuttle on the island. Things to do : There is a a few resorts and bars. There is a segway rent place. Cycle, kayak and basking in the sun. There are 3 beaches in Sentosa. Siloso, Palawan and Tanjung. Siloso vibe is mainly for adults as there are bars that cater night and day. Children sightings are less too as no play area for children. Usually parents with children would bring their kids to Palawan Beach as it's more kid friendly. #mustvisit

High tea session at Pan Pacific

High tea session at Pan Pacific

Visited panpacificsingapore for their new Japanese inspired afternoon tea during the weekend. Service was seriously lacking. I sat down at 1515hrs and my first item (my tea) only arrived after almost an hour. Coffee only arrived at around 1700 hrs. Almost 2 hrs after I arrived. DH got really grumpy as he needed his afternoon dose of caffeine badly. I understand that they are lacking staffs but the wait is horribly. They apologised a few times but, that was it. Putting the terrible service aside, food wise its still above average. All the items are inspired by the Japanese theme and I like it. The sweet treats are my favourite and I wouldn't mind having another serving of those. The sweet treats didn't give me any "heavy" feel after finishing all of them. I like it that they are using the Bacha coffee too. Bacha coffee has a very very pleasant smell and it's an excellent choice of coffee for high tea. Overall a little upset with the service but I wouldn't mind coming back again soon when their manpower is adequate. Until then, its time to find another afternoon tea place #moreinsg

Solo Staycay at Parkroyal on Beach Road

Address - 7500 Beach Road Facilities - spa, gym and swimming pool Highlights - location * It is near Arab Street, Haji Lane and Bali Lane where one can leisurely walk around the area, snap good photographs of wall murals or try one of the many restaurants featuring middle eastern cuisine. Avg. Price - Superior King Room w/ breakfast around 450 SGD for a 3D2N stay (GHA member rate) How to Get There - No car? No problem ;) If you feel like walking, you can go there via MRT. Alight at Bugis station, go to exit E or F. It’s a good 15-20 mins leisurely walk to get there. There is also a bus stop near it (B01529). Rating - 3.5 out of 5 I spent New Year’s Eve in this hotel around 4 years ago, pre-pandemic, and I remember I liked their buffet spread and big rooms (for a lower tier-priced room type). I stayed again, during pandemic, when there was dining restriction. Breakfast was still ok - only set menu was offered. Of course, my stay will not be complete without having their River Prawn Laksa. Sooooo yummy! They don’t skimp on the prawns! Having stayed at another Parkroyal Hotel here in Singapore, I can say that they are a bit behind in terms of ambiance, amenities and overall “feel” - which should be expected (compare their rates with other Parkroyal hotel locations). Even so, if you are looking for a reasonably-priced hotel with above-average amenities & services, have a go and try this hotel 😊 #staycation #hotel #hotelsg

A&W Northshore Plaza @ Punggol

#sgfoodies The perfect place for a chill out session after your walks at Coney Island. This A&W is located at Northshore Plaza 2 and you will be greeted by its bright orange A&W vibes. I always come here for their signature waffles with butter and honey. It’s my favourite dessert from A&W. I couldn’t resist the root beer & fried chicken too cos they looked so appetizing on the screen as I scroll down the self service kiosk so so just had to order them as well. 😅 Overall, I enjoyed my “pre-dinner” meal after my walk at Punggol Park. 👍🏻
