Mt. Kinabalu - The highest mountain in Borneo and Malaysia ⛰️ Its my second time climbed Akinabalu and I still cant get over how breathtaking and beautiful the scenery was 🤎 We started at Timpohon gate and climbed to the resthouse (Panalaban) which was around 6km uphill hike. took me 5 hours 🤣 After we had a good rest, at 1:30am we continued to climb from resthouse to Sayat-Sayat checkpoint (arrived around 4am) and then to the summit (arrived 6am). get enough training and it will be easier to climb 🤭 Take your time and enjoy the view. After the climb, you will surely gonna miss it and might repeat again #mountkinabalu 😎

POLUMPUNG KOTA BELUD

About 2hours drive from Kota Kinabalu if there's no traffic jam or roadwork. Some are might be misty and as reach the place few dogs and cattle would chill out on road so be careful. The river overlooking the majestic view of Mount Kinabalu by 10am plus the mountains would shy away and cover itself with thick clouds. This pace is run by few families and keep place really clean. There's ample of parking space. Now one thing I don't like the river is rocky painful to the feet also the river is very shallow. Weekend is crowded with people. #sabah

**"Conquering Mount Kinabalu: A Rewarding Challenge"**

#hikingtime Hiking Mount Kinabalu was an unforgettable adventure. The two-day trek was both exhilarating and challenging. The ascent through lush forests and across rugged terrain was visually stunning, with each turn offering new, breathtaking views. Reaching the summit at sunrise was a highlight—seeing the first light break over the horizon was truly magical. However, the hike was physically demanding. I struggled with altitude sickness, which made the higher elevations particularly tough. The weather also tested my resolve; cold temperatures and strong winds added to the challenge. Despite the difficulties and the high cost of permits and guides, the sense of achievement upon reaching the top made every effort worthwhile.

Conquering the Mighty Kinabalu: A Breathtaking 2-Day Hike

#hikingtrails Mount Kinabalu's majestic peak beckoned, and I answered. This 2-day hike was a test of endurance, but the rewards were breathtaking. Day one's lush rainforest trek led to Laban Rata, where sunset painted the sky with hues of gold. Day two's pre-dawn ascent revealed a stunning sunrise, followed by a thrilling summit climb. At 4,095m, the panoramic view took my breath away. The diverse flora, mesmerizing vistas, and sense of accomplishment made this hike unforgettable. Tips: • Acclimatize to the altitude • Pack layers for changing weather • Train beforehand for the challenging climb Mount Kinabalu, you have my heart.

Gorgeous Pine Resort at Kundasang

The beautiful Pine Resort is located at Kampung Kundasang Ranau, Sabah State, Malaysia. We managed to get the room with the mountain view and the view of Mount Kinabalu from the resort is amazingly gorgeous. I love the stay there and the vibe matches its cooling weather. Highly recommended for Pine tree lovers like myself. The plus point is the cleanliness of the room, veranda and the whole resort compound. Since there is a convenience store near the entrance, you can easily grab snacks or urgent stuff before the store closes around 9pm. For those who want to explore during the stay in resort, the supermarkets and eating places are also just about 10-15 minutes drive away. So, big thumbs up for Pine Resort! #kinabalu
