Everything available on the door step. Staff were warm and welcoming. Comfy beds and great air con.

Room The room was a good size and well laid out, with adequate space to move around comfortably. Everything was clean and well-maintained, giving a pleasant and tidy first impression overall. Bathroom A decent size and kept clean. Water pressure was strong, which is always a plus. However, there was a notably unpleasant smell in the bathroom throughout the stay, which detracted from the experience. The shower curtain setup is not ideal — a fixed screen would be a significant improvement. Bed Exceptionally comfortable. A genuinely good night’s sleep — the bedding and mattress quality were well above what you might expect at this price point. Hotel Excellent location — convenient, accessible, and secure. The property felt safe and well-managed, which adds real peace of mind, particularly for solo travellers or overnight business stays. Customer Service Standout. Upon arrival, an incorrect room was allocated, but the issue was identified and resolved within minutes — no fuss, no delays. That kind of efficient, no-nonsense response is exactly what good hospitality looks like. Bar Good. Solid offering for a Travelodge — perfectly adequate for an evening drink or a wind-down after a long day. Late Check-Out Late check-out was available and taken up — a welcome flexibility that made the stay even more convenient. Overall: A reliable, comfortable stay with a great location and responsive staff. The bathroom smell is the one area that needs attention, but it doesn’t overshadow an otherwise positive experience. Would return.

Ticked all my boxes. Large clean and comfortable room with air conditioning. Dog friendly with plenty of local walks. I had an extended stay and the staff were exceptionally attentive to my requirements. Many thanks to Gabi and Dana!

Brilliant hotel, lovely rooms and great service. No street noise heard from outside. Location is perfect, only a few minutes walk away from the station. The rooms were good value for money and nice and clean. It had all the amenities you could require and a lovely bar. I would highly reccomend this travellodge. The atmosphere was lovely. Arriving about 5PM, we were ama zed of the lack of care of the premises. The halls were not clean at all. We paid for a "Doulble Plus" room, thinking by paying more we would get a room closer to the elevator as my husband has difficulty in walking. Due to work and commitments, we have stayed so often over the past three to four years that staff know us. Our request for a "closer room" was accommodated until "new rules" took over. No helping regular clients! We were told upon checking in that we must reserve "a family room" which costs more to get what we need! There's only two of us! We thought upgrading to a Double Plus room and paying more would do the trick. Now, we must pay for a "family room" then pay additional to reserve! Outrageous!! Then to come into a "dirty, unkept hotel" after paying more just does not make sense at all!!

Stayed for a week for a family wedding. Location is great for bars, restaurants and train station. No parking with the hotel so this would mean using a paid car park if you were driving. Room very basic - just a bed, desk, chair and 5 coat hangers. No drawers, wardrobe, or fridge. Air conditioning was not working throughout the hotel with fans supplied that did nothing to help. Windows don't open very far due to pigeon problems. No housekeeping unless requested and once requested it only meant fresh towels and tea/coffee supplies. No change of sheets unless staying longer than a week. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant area felt very staged as though a show home, eg salt and pepper shakers had nothing in them and you had to use the sachets. Not well cleaned with cobwebs hanging from the same areas, lights and tables all week we were there. Breakfast was ok if you got there early otherwise things started to run out and were not replaced.

Lovely big clean room, in great location in town centre and I came with my two kids later in evening and Abhi and Kumar looked so well after us with nice quick dinner and being very helpful. We only staying 1night but we had very nice experience.

Great value hotel, excellent customer service from Abhi and Auiral who were always smiling, very professional and looked after us throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, great choice of well cooked food at breakfast and lovely well presented public areas. Overall very impressed and will be booking in again on our next visit
