Heyu House Hotel

The location of this hotel was very convenient, just a 5 minute walk to Taipei train station, and there are also a 7-eleven right downstairs as well as surrounded by a lot of shops and cafes. However, the room I was given was super tiny, and it was barely enough for me to put my luggage. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy.

There's free water and coffee at the reception area, quite useful as compared to buying many bottles of water. There's plenty hot water for showering too and cool toilet haha. Some parts of the room do feel 'premium'. Better air conditioning and maybe a fan would be an absolutely great addition.

staff, location, and amenities. Rooms were duplex and a comfortable arrangement, friendly staff plus reasonable proximity to the subway and broader Shanghai was a nice touch. Definitely a viable and cost effective choice for both budget and business travelers

Great location and no smell at the room (double room with bathroom). Water dispenser is provided. Automated check in and check out. Do take note If you need customer service or frequent request from counter personnel- only for certain hours. Generally comfortable yet darker environment in the room. Can hear the noise from next door😅

Location was great. Food everywhere. Good enough for 3 -4 days. I recommend if you need get airport. Main station walking distance. I like it

Good location and nice staff. Hotel room is pricy but it doesn’t reflect on room. Hotel room is enclosed by partition walls so can hear people chat in next room. Air conditioner is extremely noisy. I cannot sleep well. Hotel room is very small. Toilet is even more terrible. It has been small but still using electrical toilet seat. It make toilet bowl even smaller. I cannot poop properly. Then showering area is very small. The shower curtain keep sticking to my body during bathroom so that I can bath. Shower head and the mount is lousy. They keep loose out. You can see my ceiling. It looks like those building which is lacking of maintenance.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 days. It offers great value for budget travelers for location near Taipei station and shopping area. Rustic style room is clean and quiet. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

I really appreciated how close the hotel is from the station. Be prepared for Google Maps to list places in Chinese, not English. I liked the room I rented because it had it’s own bathroom. The toilet was a bidet which was great! I liked the rustic style of the hotel. I found a hair and some stains in the sheets, but the room overall felt clean. I really liked the location, too because I could walk to all the places I wanted to see! I recommend staying here. :)

It's really affordable and in a convenient place. They have 7-11 downstairs it's really good!
