Red Roof Inn Stroudsburg

Didnt expect a 24/hour desk to be someone on a machine and through a computer screen. She was helpful despite taking 20 minutes to provide us with room keys. (it wouldnt dispense from the machine so she had to reset it). The room had a weird mildew smell but I stayed for only one night so it was manageable.

Hotel is not responsive at all, some local ppl in the hotel, but litterally they are doing nothing. Checing crew is online. otel and around is like a **** factory. All night **** smell came in the room. You dont feel safe here. Lots of ppl outside and hotal making sounds. Stay away from.

不知道為什麼洗手間裏的地巾是濕的，床上好多頭髮，衞生間的通風扇非常響，但是沒用，洗完澡哪哪都是濕的，房間裏的空調也非常響，和拖拉機一樣，可是制暖一般。

酒店的房間並不乾淨，進入房門後有很濃的狗狗排泄物味，床單及被單都有很大塊的深紅色污漬，同時房內的浴巾上竟有一塊band-aid黏在上方。這是與家人一同前往的旅行，在這裡的整晚住得很不舒適。

Did not really like the experience. The bed was not comfortable and did not appear particularly clean based on the numerous hairs we found. The room was spartan at best. Very few amenities of note. The location was interesting. The immediate blocks around it were...i guess..."sketchy?". But walking over the bridge you were very close to a bustling main street that had nice bars and food options. The strangest thing...when I checked in, there was a man behind the desk. But he refused to speak to me. Instead he gestured to a large digital kiosk with a screen. There was a man on the screen. I needed to talk to him. Really strange the guy on site cant check me in and I have to interface with some digital presence who knows where. All told, not the worst place I stayed at, but just know it's pretty much you get what you pay for situation.

Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. Check in is done through a kiosk with no human present, just on video link. The machine takes credit cards, you sign the rental agreement on screen and it prints receipts and dispenses the room card key. The room was clean but the smell in the room was of old cigarettes and what ever noxious chemicals they use as air freshener. there was an immediate physical reaction to this atmosphere that made it impossible for staying there. The video interaction was minimally helpful and I checked out immediately. I must wait to see if they cancelled the reservation as I asked. I am working with ******* for a refund since I did book through them but it is too soon to tell if that will have a positive result. I can not recommend a stay here if you have any type of respiratory issues such as asthma, COPD, CHF＜ or reactive airway issues. If any positive result comes from ******* from this event, I will update this review.

no staff present on site. only check in was through a computer. room was clean but no tissues in room, only a small packet of shampoo to share between 2 people. Was told there would be a breakfast by this check in person there was breakfast between 8 and 10 and then when we can down there was none

This was the first time I had to ask for a refund from a hotel. The lobby was very run down (paint chipping, old dirty couches, etc). The outside was just as dingy and uninviting. The room itself looked nicer than the lobby until you turned the light on. Both beds had noticeable stains on the covers and bugs on the bed. The front desk staff was the most pleasant part of the experience she was kind, helpful and understanding.
