Had a short break and was a little underwhelmed. The room was clean but small with windows over the main entrance including the toilet window next to the toilet - keep blinds closed !! The internet is poor so if you like connectivity this will be an issue. On the plus side this is a super dog friendly hotel - we didn’t take our dog but appreciated the effort the hotel has made here. The pools are small but well maintained but a morning swim was only possible on one morning as everyone had the same idea the second day and pools were busy even just after opening at 8am. Breakfast was great with nice views and the staff very nice and friendly. We were disappointed there is no access down to the beach from the hotel but that’s because it is no longer safe so we understand the difficulties here. I just wish I had known ahead of time as I might have chosen a different location. So overall a great hotel for dogs, very nice staff and a quaint little town with access to some great walking and cycling routes. We just expected more for the money.

Another excellent stay at Luccombe Manor hotel. Our sea facing room was spotlessly clean, good sized bathroom and as a family of 3, we had plenty of space. The breakfast was excellent and our evening meals were delicious. The staff catered for my daughter's food allergy with ease. The outside pool was warm and the facilities kept us busy. Great location and the Chine ticket is a lovely addition. From booking to leaving, the team have been very helpful and would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic family hotel – our daughter didn’t want to leave! We had a fantastic stay here and our daughter genuinely said it was the “best holiday ever” – she really did not want to leave! The hotel is especially brilliant for families with younger children. It’s set up almost like a little resort, with two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, playground, mini golf, giant chess and chequers, plus an entertainment area with plenty to keep the kids occupied. There were loads of other children around too, so our daughter quickly made friends and was never bored. The gardens are absolutely stunning, spread over different levels with beautiful planting and fish ponds. There’s so much space to wander around and explore. We had a sea-view room and the view was incredible. We were also blessed with fantastic weather, which obviously made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was amazing – plentiful, lots of choice and a great start to the day. We also ate dinner at the hotel every evening and the food was consistently good. It’s also a great choice if you’re bringing a dog, as the whole place has a very relaxed, family-friendly feel. Yes, it’s officially a 3-star hotel, and there are areas where you can see that, but you can also see they are really trying to create something much more. The facilities, gardens and everything available for families make it feel like they are aiming for a 5-star experience. For us, the biggest compliment is that our daughter was genuinely upset to leave. When your child says it was the “best holiday ever”, you know they’ve done something right! We would definitely return.

Again just as last year had a wonderful weeks stay here with our dog, Birtie. The atmosphere, the room, the staff the food all excellent. Very geared towards having your furry friend with you. We love it here and in a great location. Food was great, love the breakfast (best fresh fruit salad ever) Thank you for a great stay and apologies the review was so late ( thought I had done it)

We have stayed at Luccombe Hall and Luccombe Manor for over twenty years and have always had a great stay and lovely meals. We enjoy staying at Luccombe Manor with our dog as it’s very dog friendly. This year they have put a paddling pool next to the swim pool for the dogs to cool off and the dog wash station is very handy when returning from the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly and lots have worked there for many years.

The hotel is extremely dog friendly. The staff are all very friendly, especially Iveta who made sure our dog had a sausage for breakfast every morning, Chris who always made a fuss of the dog, and Brooke, the manager, who was always very lovely and helpful, making sure we always had everything we needed. The breakfasts were 10/10, with very quick service. The dinners at the sister hotel next door were also very good, with extremely good portion sizes there. The room was lovely, having amazing views, with lots of windows, and was big enough for the 3 of us, plus our dog. There was no aircon, however having the big windows open we managed to keep cool enough despite the heatwave, but it would be a bonus if you are able to get aircon for when there is hot weather. The maintenance person was very efficient and came within 5 mins to fix an issue with the blinds. The WiFi worked well too, it was fast and we had no issues there. There was a big carpark, which had free car charging. Access to the Shanklin Chine was also free, which takes you onto the beach. The pool, hot tub and doggy paddling pool were all great.
