I went for a brief trip to celebrate one of my favorite philanthropies so I did not have a chance to sample all of the Hotel's features (for example, I did not get to go to the off-site gym). However, I can report that this grand resort epitomizes old Florida IMO and I liked its warmth and intimacy better than the grandeur of its primary competitor, The Breakers. The service is wonderful. All of the staff are friendly and call you by name. The turndown service is wonderful and they give you an interesting card about the history and an exceptionally tasty sweet macaron form Laduree. My room was quite small and fully priced, but you could not have a better location - just one block from the Beach and Worth Avenue. The "free" in-house car service featuring a vintage Land Rover Defender and a Volvo station wagon is quite exceptional.

Great weekend getaway hotel for couples.

We traveled from Davie to celebrate our daughter Sofia's preschool graduation, and from the moment we arrived, we were truly blown away. The level of service, the beautiful room upgrade, the thoughtful sweet treats, and especially the handwritten note for Sofia made our family feel incredibly welcomed and celebrated. This was both our first visit to Palm Beach Island and our first stay at The Colony, and thanks to your team's kindness and attention to detail, it certainly won't be our last. Creating memorable experiences has become increasingly rare, and your team exceeded every expectation. Thank you for making such a special milestone even more meaningful for our family. I had a horrible experience at the Colony Hotel. After my last night, I woke up with bug bites all over the lower portion of my body. The bites were in the pattern and coloring of bed bug bites. When I checked the bed more closely, I found a dead bug and hair under the mattress. This made me seriously question whether the room had been properly cleaned or inspected before my arrival. The condition of the room was unacceptable, and I notified management immediately upon my discovery. The hotel claims they had the room inspected for bed bugs, but of course they would say that. I texted pictures to a bed bug inspector, who said the bites did look like bed bug bites. When I arrived home after a five-hour flight, I could not enter my home for fear of infesting it and had to either professionally clean all my clothes or keep them in trash bags outside for several days. It was a huge stress, inconvenience, and additional cost. I reported the issue to the hotel, but they refused to offer any acceptable resolution. They offered a free upgrade for my next stay, which felt insulting under the circumstances. After that, they stopped responding to me altogether. The lack of accountability and follow-up made an already unacceptable experience even worse. Guests should be able to expect a clean, sanitary sleeping area and respectful customer service when serious concerns are raised. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would not recommend this property to anyone and there are much better stays in Palm Beach.

Amazing atmosphere, classic Palm Beach. The food is incredible. Staff is super lovely and professional. The location couldn’t be more ideal and the amenities are great.

We LOVED our stay here! We were surprised with a complementary room upgrade when we arrived. The villa we stayed in was absolutely fabulous. All the staff were so helpful and kind and treated us like old friends. Breakfast at Swifty's was perfect as always, and we will definitely be coming back soon!

The attention to detail in every nook and cranny of this hotel was amazing. All staff was accommodating and beyond friendly. We LOVED our stay and can't wait to return!

Great location next to Worth Avenue. Beautifully appointed lobby and rooms. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pink Paradise bakery delicious. Especially the warm croissants!

Came for a staycation and my wife's birthday. Made the reservation about a week or two in advance, very little was available in the way of room choices. I called several times asking for an upgrade if there was a cancellation, accomodations were made. However, when we arrived and room choices were still a bit limited, the Colony made a wonderful upgrade for us and we could not be more appreciative. To say above and beyond would be understating. So...what about everything else? From the time you're greeted by the bellmen, to the check-in process, the employees could not be more friendly and accomodating. The bartenders are long time employees, and very nice folks. The servers too are great. Management has done a great job with creating a welcoming atmosphere where one feels right at home. The restaurant, Swifty's, is excellent. Breakfast poolside is always nice. Early riser? Coffee and a choice of newspapers are alway waiting for you. Take it outside by the pool and have a quiet morning before starting the day. Looking forward to the next time !
